A big part
of grade five is learning how to research properly, which is a detailed process
that takes time and practice. The grade five students have been learning how to
search books for information, take down notes based on what is relevant to
them, share this information, and then reflect on their learning.
The
summative assessment for this unit, requires each group to research a particular
religion. We are nearing the end and they are just about to put it all together
as a brochure and special `performance`.

I cannot wait to learn about the different belief systems from my students. I wonder what they will teach me...
